First, we brainstormed some food that we eat for Thanksgiving. Next, we read 'Twas the Night Before Thanksgiving by Dav Pilkey.
Then, we decided that we would eat turkey or save the turkey. About half of us still plan to eat turkey for Thanksgiving, and the rest will apparently eat pizza and pumpkin pie, perhaps with a side of mashed potatoes, hold the gravy.
I love these little characters! We made these last year too, but this year, I made them fit on a regular piece of paper. Perhaps I can scan it in and offer it on TPT sometime. The body of the little person has a space for writing with writing lines. I also simplified the design by adding in a drawn arm and the shoes are one piece instead of the original two pieces.
